Sixteen covers and interior illustrations for a poetry press, cut on lino and printed by hand. Each one starts with the manuscript: a pencil rough, then a single image that has to carry a whole collection.

How it worked
Manuscript in, pencil rough back within a fortnight, then three to six weeks on the block. The press keeps the print run; I keep the lino.

Most poetry illustrations land between £300 and £2000 depending on size and colour count. Two or three commissions taken per quarter depending on the size of my current project.
